Charmaine Reece.


With 8 years Toastmaster membership over two states and six different clubs, Charmaine, a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) having reached the highest award within Toastmasters International, offers a wealth of experience in the Public Speaking arena.

Charmaine has competed in all four disciplines at the Toastmasters District 73 Speech Contests ( covering Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania) Winning the Table Topics ( Impromptu Speaking) in 2001.

Charmaine Reece AISTD - London (Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance London – Cecchetti Method), ran her own business; the "Holden Hill Dance Centre", in Adelaide, South Australia for 12 years. Currently working as a Manager within the aged and disability industry in Melbourne, Victoria and has done for the past 6 years in both Residential Services and Community Services. Charmaine trained both as a nurse and in management, she has worked as a trainer/presenter within the Health Care Industry, training student nurses and certificate 3 in aged and disability studies. Charmaine has also presented a variety of educational sessions within Toastmasters and businesses in Melbourne and Adelaide.

Topics include:
The Twilight Zone’ – on speech structure, how to choose a speech topic and the needs of the audience.
True Grit” - a humorous speech on how to achieve your goals and how to be the best you can be.
I Can Do That’ – a motivational speech about sibling rivalry, that entertains and inspires the audience.
Mission Impossible’ – a motivational speech on overcoming fears

Charmaine was invited as a Guest Trainer to the Department of Epidemiology & Preventative Medicine, Melbourne. She presented;

‘Presentations with Pow’ – on Speech Delivery and how to get the most out of your PowerPoint Presentations” ‘Actions Speak Louder than Words’ – speech structure and appropriate use of body language for speakers”
